The Nyungné Lhakhang (snyung gnas lha khang), a small one-story temple, was formerly part of the Zhidé Dratsang (bzhi sde grwa tshang) complex. The Nyungné Lhakhang was founded by Nyungné Lama Yeshé Zangpo (smyung gnas bla ma ye shes bzang po), a disciple of Tsechok Ling Yeshé Gyeltsen (tshe mchog gling ye shes rgyal mtshan, 1713-1793). The temple name, Nyungné, refers to the "fasting" practice, a popular ritual practice dedicated to Avalokiteśvara (spyan ras gzigs) that is performed by both monastics and lay people. The Nyungné Lhakhang is no longer extant.
