Drakkhang
This building was constructed in 1924 to serve as the Tibetan Post Office (sbrags khang). It was built on the former grounds of Tengyé Ling (bstan rgyas gling) monastery in Lhasa, much of which had been demolished by the Tibetan government following Tengyé Ling's support of Zhao Erfeng's army from 1910-12. The building ceased to function as the Post Office in 1959. It was later converted to public housing before finally being turned into a museum. The building retains some original architectural features, including a flight of stone steps to the second floor and some decorative carvings.
