Chögyel Druppuk

A meditation cave and temple inside the Potala Palace. King Songtsen Gampo (srong btsan sgam po) is said to have meditated here in the seventh century CE, and it is believed to be the earliest inhabited site on Marpo Ri (dmar po ri), the hill on which the Potala sits.
