Kakni Gozhi

This stupa (mchod rten) was located on the northern part of the Barkor (bar skor) in Lhasa, in the square formed by the intersection of Ramoché street and the Barkor street itself. It was next to a mani temple (ma Ni lha khang) containing a set of two large mani wheels. The stupa had four doors (sgo bzhi), one on each side of the square base. The stupa was demolished, along with the mani temple, in the 1960s.
