Paro International Airport

In 1968 a air stip was constructed by the Indian boarder road orginazation. In 1981 Bhutan's first royal airline , Druk air was established through royal charter and the air strip was extended and developed to an airport which was gradually developed to the curent form. Today two local airlines Drukair and Bhutan airlines fly in and out from the air port.
