Dobji Drupchu

The spring by the side of the stream that flows from the right side of the ridege on which Dobji dzong stands was found by Lam Ngawang Chogyel when he came looking for the outlet of the spring that originates from below the Mila Ripa's throne in Druk Ralung Tibet. After finding the spring outlet here, he was said to have built the Dobji dzong of the ridge next to it. Some oral accounts say that the spring originates from below the throne of Lhasa Jowo.
