At this point of the Chamkhar river, a traditional bridge was built long time. The old traditional bridge was replaced by a motorable bailey bridge when motor roads reached Bumthang. The bridge was later again replaced with the current one built by Japan further widening and enhancing the capacity of bridge. It is located at the enterance of Chamkhar town as we enter from east.
