Sombrang Brag

The cliff is located at the north of Sumthrang village, which resembles piled-up religious texts. This cliff was one of the symbolic sites mentioned in the prophecy by his father when Nyo Dechog came to Sumthrang looking for the place of prophecy. It was prophesied that a cliff resembling a pile of texts stood to the north of the place. The cliff has the eastern and western part where retreat hermitages can be seen on both areas of the cliff. In the centre is the deity shrine room of Sumthrang Draktsen.
