Pangrizampa

The bridge over the river as you cross from Dechen Choling area towards Kabisa is known as Pangri Zampa. A temple was built by Chojey Ngawang Choejyel in the madadow by the side of the rive near the bridge. Later in1616 when Zhabdrung arrived Bhutan he used the temple as his residence. Today the temple is houses the State Monk Body's school of astrology and is known by the name of the bridge called the Panrizampa Astrology school which serves as the highest university level education centre for mastering in Biddhist astrology.
