Towards the northern side of Tashi Choedzong is the Hejo village, which is a small cluster of traditional structure now a growing town with concreate buildings since its inclusion into the extended Thimphu city. The supreme court of Bhutan is located in the area of Hejo. The contruction of the supreme court began towards December 2008 and it was inaugurated in June 2014.
