Kuwapani is an area of farmland under Pangthang Chiwog in Petsheling Gewog of Tsirang district. According to oral accounts, the farmland area have a pond water for drinking water which is why the area is known by the name Kuwapani, meaning the pond water in southern Lhotsam language.
