This place known as Wangdar Kutchen is primarily paddy fields. It is located on a gentle slope within the area of Wangdar in Goleng. At present there is only one permanent household in Kutchen. The rest of the houses seen are seasonal and occupied during paddy season when people migrate from Goleng. People believe that the place was named kutchen meaning abundance of a wild fruit called kut (amla) in Kheng language.
