Buli

Buli is a village in Nangkor Gewog. It is well known valley in the east central Bhutan. The landmark site in the village is known a the huge lake known as the Buli Menmo, which is located at few minutes walk away from the village. According to Phuntsho Dendup from Buli, the name of the place must have been Bey-yul meaning hidden place and not Buli. At present there are about more than 70 households in Buli. The settlement consists of cluster houses in two main sections of the village of Trong and Pang. The rest of settlements are spread out with clusters of two to three houses surrounded by the fields on the plains and slopes.
