Meru Khangkhung (rme ru khang khungs) is a building off the southeast corner of Meru Nyingpa (rme ru rnying pa) in Lhasa's Barkor area formerly owned by Sera (se ra) monastery and Purbuchok Ngawang Jampa (phur bu lcog ngag dbang byams pa, 1682-1762). According to the Tibet Heritage Fund, some of the building's foundations probably date to before the seventeenth century. The building was owned by Sera monastery until the eighteenth century when it was bought by Purbuchok Ngawang Jampa to serve as a residence for him.
