Beri

Beri (be ri) is notorious for having been such an irritant to the Fifth Dalai Lama and his supporters during the Dalai Lama’s rise to power in Central Tibet that the Gushri Khan executed Dönyö Dorjé (don yod rdo rje), the king of Beri, in 1738. Apart from this event it is doubtful that this polity was very important.
