The house of the family of Ura Gathpo is sometimes also known as Gathpa. The current house is a new house built after the former house was razed by fire about twenty years ago. It is said that the Ura Gathpo's ancestors served as Trongsa Drönyer and Zhongar Dzongpön according to local elders.
