Kha 77 is listed in the Aufschnaiter Map key as "g.yu thog shar," but kha 77 does not appear on the Aufschnaiter Map itself. The location of this building according to the Tibet Heritage Fund is an undeveloped location on the Aufschnaiter Map. Additionally, photos dated to the 1930s mention Lhalu Podrang to the northwest of the Potala Palace, while the Tibet Heritage Fund database gives the construction date of this feature as during the 1950s.
